50-word bio for this speaker (or link to biographical info)
I am Larry Chiang -- and I am a ten year loser in the film industry. I went to SC back in 1998 under a Young Producers summer program. After countless failed auditions and dozens of industry parties, I may finally have a film deal. I wrote a book that was released 09-09-09 called "What They Don't Teach You at Stanford Business School" and pitched a movie inside of my book. Its never been done before. Also, I hustled my way into hosting an after party at Sundance Jan 23, 2010. I blogged about it at Business Week. My mentor Mark McCormack started IMG. Its one of the largest celebrity management agencies in the world. He wrote the 10+ year bestseller, "What They Don't Teach You at Harvard Business School" in 1983. If you email me, chiang9@duck9.com, include your cell in the subject line.
I am qualified to speak on this topic because
I work really hard to moderate great panels. I pull great speakers that know I'll be hard on them but will showcase them for the business leaders that they are. I am also pretty good at getting PR
I am an author. The title and publication date of my most current book is as follows
"What They Don't Teach You at Stanford Business School" It's a sequel to my mentor Mark McCormack's book, "What They Don't Teach You at Harvard Business School" It was a 10+ year bestseller that came out in 1983.
